Paete General Hospital is an accredited healthcare provider that accepts PhilHealth members. We are committed to helping patients maximize their benefits and reduce out-of-pocket expenses whenever applicable.

Our billing staff will assist you in verifying eligibility and processing your PhilHealth deductions.


WHO CAN AVAIL PHILHEALTH BENEFITS

You may use your PhilHealth coverage if you are:

  • An active PhilHealth member

  • A qualified dependent (spouse, children, parents, or legal dependents)

  • A senior citizen with PhilHealth registration

  • A sponsored or government-enrolled member

Eligibility is subject to PhilHealth rules and contribution requirements.


REQUIREMENTS

Please bring the following upon registration or admission:
 

For Members

  • PhilHealth ID or PhilHealth Number

  • Member Data Record (MDR)

  • Valid Government ID
     

For Dependents

  • Member’s PhilHealth Number

  • Member Data Record (MDR)

  • Patient valid ID

  • Proof of relationship (if requested)
     

Incomplete documents may delay benefit processing.


HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
 

  1. Present your PhilHealth documents at registration

  2. Our staff verifies your membership

  3. Charges are evaluated based on PhilHealth coverage

  4. Applicable deductions are applied to your hospital bill

  5. You only pay the remaining balance (if any)
     

Coverage depends on case classification and PhilHealth policies.
 

WHAT PHILHEALTH MAY COVER
 

Coverage may include portions of:

  • Doctor’s professional fees

  • Hospital services

  • Laboratory tests

  • Medicines used during treatment

  • Room accommodation (based on case rate)

Actual coverage is determined by PhilHealth case rates and eligibility at the time of availment.
 

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
 

  • Benefits cannot be processed without proper documents

  • Membership must be active

  • Some services may not be fully covered

  • Additional charges beyond coverage will be billed to the patient

  • Always inform the staff if you are a PhilHealth member before services begin
